Opyt vs Composio

Composio connects your agent to systems. Opyt is the one system that decides what is worth keeping.

A connector platform gives an agent authenticated access to hundreds of services. If the job is letting an agent touch Gmail, Jira and Salesforce, this is the category and Opyt is not in it.

A connector is a pipe, not a corpus. Pointing one at your X account gives an agent an X API. It does not give it a store with an admission bar, retention, ranking and provenance.

At a glance

CredentialsYour own browser session, on your machineComposio-managed auth by default: accounts connect at runtime through its session

Where Composio is better

  • Breadth. Composio reaches business SaaS through a managed catalog and handles the OAuth. Opyt has no Gmail, Drive, Slack or calendar at all.
  • Managed auth and hosting for services that need real OAuth.
  • It is the right answer for automating work across business tools.

Where Opyt is better

  • Selection, retention and ranking, none of which a pipe performs.
  • No account and no hosted service in the path. The X and Substack ingesters read your own browser session, on your own machine.
  • It reads X and Substack from your own session, which no connector platform can offer.

Which one

Pick Composio if

  • You need your agent to act across many services
  • Your data lives in business SaaS
  • You want managed auth

Pick Opyt if

  • You want a curated store, not live access
  • Your sources are published writing and code
  • You want the data to stay on your machine

These sit at different layers. A connector moves data. Deciding what deserves to be kept is the part Opyt does.
